E36 drifting racing car with S54 turbo
Hello! Im Samuli from Finland. Im starting a new project. Im making BMW to drifting racing car. Not for street use. I have S54 engine and most of parts allready and I hope to find a cheap E36 M3 or 328 to body...
Engine specs (parts I have):
S54B32 (euro)
-CP pistons 87,5mm and with 8,5:1 comp
-Arrows connecting rods
-MLS turbo head gasket
-Supertech parts in head: coated valves, stiffer/stronger double springs, titanium retainers and couted cam followers
-mira machined valve seats to special racing angels
-ARP studs in head and bottom
-Calico racing bearings (like OEM but coated)
-brand new OEM crank (balancered)
-OEM cams
-Custom made MFS Holset HX50
-Tial 60mm wastegate
-Custom made turbo exhaust manifold
-Tatech PRO32 stand alone ecu
-830cc fuel injektors
-UUC lighter aluminum flywheel + M5 pressure plate + 6 puck sintered disc
-Home made S54 8mm stödgördelkit/main girdle/crank scraper
That Holset can make air to 850hp. I dont need that much power when I drift. I think that 600hp is good to start. 1bar is cloce to 600hp I think. But it is great that when I need more power, there is where to take. More power to 1/4mile example... In drifting, it is important that the power come smoothly and start at early rpms...
There will come stand alone ecu. Motec or Autronic or Tatech. I have Vanos elimination kit too but I thinking to use vanos at first. I hope that the vanos is getting turbo to awake sooner. (I go Tatech)
Engine block is bored from 87mm to 87,5mm.
I have old UUC lighter aluminum flywheel + M5 pressure plate + cerametallic clutch disk but now I need something stronger than that. But what? (sintered disc)
I try to use engines orginal intake manifold at first. If its not good I buy this manifold: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/perform ... _Manifolds But its so expensive!
I try to do everything that this engine not broke. So Im planning to buy "stödgördelkit" from PPF. What it is in english?

2000,- with 12.9 studs and 4000,- with ARP studs. Thats is sick! Are 12.9 studs/bolts good enought? Is there problems to use 12.9? Anybody?
Is there any weak parts in engine that you dont recommend to use?
Any links to S54 turbo projekts, parts or E36 + S54 swaps are welcome!

WANTED: E36 M3 or E46 M3 body without engine or with broken engine!
Sorry about my bad English, Hope you understand me...

Any place where to find turbo exhaust manifold or turbo inlet manifold?
I planning to buy this if I dont find anything better
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdet ... nium/14107
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/product ... nifold.asp
There are very nice turbo parts in horsepowerfreaks but I dont like their turbo exhaust manifolds at all.

I get even bigger turbo!
Its a little bit bigger than that "old" Holset Super HX40.
Its a custom made MFS Holset HX50. It can produce air up to 0,60 kg/sec. (that HX40 0,5kg/sec)
So the new goal is 800 horsepower.
