Hehe förstår! akta 3ans växel bara, oftast där dom rasar :) stadig låda är rätt värt i brutala bilar!

Hi there,

Congratulations on your car. I am sorry to bother you but I see you are using the 280 getrag gearbox...how is it holding?

What about your clutch? And pressure plate.

Thanks for your help

Hi, thank you.

The gearbox is the weakest part right now, we are going to replace it with a better gearbox when this one gives up.
Did not realy have the Money to do all at once.
Its still working, but we are gentle with it, no kamikaze-shifts. (yet)

The clutchplate is from PPF and also the pressureplate, Sachs 765.
No problems with it yet. seems to work fine on the street at least.

Thanks! Thats good to know. However I think I would rather sell the G280 and use the money to adapt a GS6-53.

I see that most people weld them, but I wonder if an adapter plate is possible.

The input shaft and pilot bearing are also diferente 'type' and I don't know if I have to modify the B36 Single Mass flywheel...Do you know anything about this?

Thanks,
Paulo
