Äntligen är växellådstunnelen på plats... Har kvar sista biten som går helt bak åt baksätet, men det blir senare.
Har också fixat en platta som pedalstället ska stå på. :)

Håller också på med et s50 tråg som ska byggas om så at det passar bak balken i en e30m3. :)

Snyggt jobbat! Önskar att jag hade samma kunskap, men det kanske kommer, vem vet! Riktigt fina svetsar du gör, aluminium är inte det lättaste materialet!

Tack så mycket. :)

Har svetsat lite mer nu....

Begynner å ligne på noe under her nå... :) Skal prøve å få bygd om girkassetraversen iløpet av helga, så jeg får sette inn motor og gir igjen. Da blir det å få fast girspaka og se på passering av pedaler og sete, samt høyde på girspak. :) Må også bynne med mellomaksel snart.
Noen som har inngående medbringer fra en e34 540-diff til meg? :)
Går vel fra 740 også tenker jeg :)

Har varit lite less, så har inte hänt så mycket... Men lite händer imellan... :)
Tunnelen til växellådan är klar, och en FET Griffin-kylare døk nyss upp i posten.
Ska bställa intercooler core från Pro Alloy när jag kommer hem från jobb.
Har varit en månad offshore nu, rigmove från Las Palmas till Irland....

Men när jag kommer hem så ska jag konsentrera mej om polarens Audi S2, så vi hinner få den klar innan Våler..
E30'n blir nog inte klar före sent i år.. Men det blir kul med S2 med 750-800hk också tror jag :)

I try to relate it
Boils the water in the cylinder head when you stop the engine.
Because the static exhaus manifold pressure heats the cylinder head back up.
this is no impulsus exhaus manifold ,small avghaus, big emap, big egt, samovar v12 engine.

Turboá: I think it will work fine, and if it doesn't, time will show! :)
It's gonna be wrapped in copper exhaust bandage anyway. :)

I mean, you like to experiment.
If you wrapped the exhaust manifold is even more wrong.
experimented with this a long time ago, a cylinder-section, model

this is foto static exhaus manifold = BIG RADIATOR

I don't think this will be any worse than a cast iron manifold like SPA and similar.. :) But like i said, time will show.
As for now, this is the best solution considering the available space.. I did build real 6-1 turbo headers first, but they took a lot more space... And when I decided to move the turbo's a bit forward I chose this solution. :)

I mean, you're right.
The cast iron exhaust manifold is very bad, but there is an engine which is better tolerated.
This engine is not tolerated.
This has the M30 and the M20 engine.
I want to help you if you need to.
