little fine tuning ;)..well here are the plans..

headers+3" exhaust, apple racing silencer/s.
porting/cleaning cylinder head a little.
Higher compression ratio about 8-8.5:1
(0.5-1mm etc. off the block since I have m52 pistons, too low compression ratio)
new more aggressive camshaft
adjustable camgear

so all this +
about 1.1-1.2bars with new cog belt drive(toothed belt, since now the PK8 normal one slips quite bad)

Should hit 350hp with these mods..well..the blower eats up about 60-70hp so it´s doable :). 420hp with turbo..350hp with blower :/..

Maybe 5hp or so hiding in ignition or fuel fine tuning now..not much.
But I can make the power curve smoother after 5300rpm by adjusting ignition.

I had some sound baffles(yearly check ;) here in finland..) before my rear silencer.

My exhaust is:
stock headers, 2*2" from gearbox to rear axle and one flow thru 3" silencer..exhaust pressure now 0.6bars max with this setup.

PS: I was thinking of adding a turbo with the compressor too, but I don´t know yet, because there would be a lot of pipe work to do etc...maybe I will build some other car with turbo and keep this only with kompressor.
Turbocharging is nice, but I´d rather be ALSO blown!

How did you measure an exhaust backpressure?

Good luck!

Last day without snow (I think..) in Finland :D

Could not help my self for not to take some video of burning my rear tires and I did some ignition tuning as well..BEHOLD!

I got this as last resort..then put some more ignition..no help..BLEW the BELT OFF the blower :)..took my engine trgigger too with it and my blower logger (2.5e) optocoupler..So there we were with my friend standing at the highway, but smiling :)

I have this dyno run and the one when the blower belt detorated :D in my datalogs..have to post them later..too exited now! here you go..found some lost Nm in the low end too ;)...tuning is nice..tho this baby won´t get a new belt until next spring!

I post pics off the belt remains+video here too and the datalogs..

Man, it just blew off..Made something like tire popping sound..luckily it did not make too much harm. Have so much things there in the engine bay now..so that kind of protected everything else. Blower rpm..well I think around 18 000rpm :D when it let go..8 rib belt..I guess this is the end of the road with that..

just as I let the throttle go and it picked some traction..POP!

I put a motorola 2.5bar map sensor (same as I have in engine) to a box and logged that to megasquirt 0-5.v channel. It gives 0-5v output with 5.v Vcc.

I have a hydraulic pipe, about 40cm long and bended to fit coming from stock M8 bolt hole. Then just attached to a nipple in the box that contains the map sensor. 8mm hydraulic pipe can take M8 thread nicely and you can find a lot of fittings to suit other connection..

You have a realy massive torque in the low revs with the supercharger!! :)

When i supercharge my car, maybe i must aim for the 10-rib belt and pullys to eliminate beltslip problems... At first i thinking of 0,7 or 0,8bar boost, but you always want more, so 10-rib is the way to go if not chosing cogbelt

Is the hp figures from your dyno on the rearwheels or on the engine crank?
(i am trying to figure out how much boost i need for 300 engine hp) 8)

hmm.. pretty good so far.

I´m currently making bits for the cog belt system. Everything has arrived. Should be able to dyno it in this autumn with the new set up. I`ll post pics later.
Lost my drivers licence early summer because of over speeding..so car has been sitting in the carage.

Yes an update!! :D

Ok, so do you make the same boost with the cogbelt or are you aiming for more spin of the charger than before?
How warm does the charged air get after the intercooler?

My project is still not running... I did go for the Vortech V5 G-trim instead of eaton or autorotor and i did buy forged M21 crank for 2,7 stoker, Eagle rods and CP pistons. So now my 200 N/A hp will become a little more powerful than 300hp i hope :) Running on E85 to.

Do you have E85 in Finland? Maybe you can make some more HP on that ?

special own design headers by martelius

ssqv copy dumpvalve modified to work with pressure difference..will be controlled via VW n75 boost valve.

NEW Cog belt system..also this belt was first GT carbon belt that has been ordered to Finland :D, everything machined and ready to go. Goodbye slipping..welcome broken parts..

Some other bits..ITG filter, Apple racing multifrequency silencer 3", new fuel pump(installed allready walbro 255lph), new fuel pressure regulator ...etc.

Everything else is okay but still missing the 2.8L crankshaft for stroker mod..+adjustable camgear+dbilas or ppf cam..

I really will need those for trying to brake the 400hp barrier.(flywheel with e98)

That´s partly why I´ll make the boost controllable first..I also want some protection for pressure spikes if something goes wrong(backfire at intake etc.)

Ms extra will control the N75 valve. I allready have all outputs/inputs in my version. Maybe I´ll add mechanical safety switch to the dumpvalve line too.

Also have to weaken the eaton clutch down a little to brake the pins if blower sizes..etc.

Some safety measures..

With 2.8L crank+diesel conrods 130mm+vanos m50 pistons I´ll have 8.5 compression ratio and should have +1.1bars boost at redline with this setup..supercharger is maxed out then ;)

PS: also I have now 630cc injectors on the engine..have to move the abs unit down about 20cm so the ITG filter fits..

PS: and we don´t have e85  [/quote] Kyllä täältä suomesta saa e85 polttoainetta useammasta sadasta tankkauspisteestä. Säätämistä tuntuu vierastavan porukka, mutta sinultahan se käy xD So, we can drive with e85 in finland 8)

EDIT: We don´t have e85 available in Finland!!! We have if you mix it yourself or buy 1L at the time for burning it in your fireplace..at a price of 4.9e/L
So I don´t think it´s an option :D
Maybe if you buy some from haparanda etc. for dynosessions only...

PS: have updated some pages regarding the car on the web..

http://palkki.oulu.fi/%7Esamila/bemari/index.htm

Sorry for the finnish..pics etc. at the end of the page..

PPS: kerro toki mistä :D kun tunnut tietävän...

I just bought 525tds 82.8mm crankshaft :D...so one part less to buy.
This will give a compression ratio of 8 with no other mods than changing the 130mm conrods..have to think about leveling the block etc. to get the compression a little bit higher.

okay, I´m going for enem/ppf z58 camshaft with spring set..I think best option so far. Have to wait for court on monday to see how much I get for speeding last spring..
176km/h and limit was 80km/h..(normally 100km/h 2-lane motorway, reduced speed because of missing some markings...)
