S38 will drop in ~summer 2007. Going to build it with parts that can handle "enough" power.. so with student incomes that means pretty long time. :)

Smuuud!
Are you going to use stock pistons and rods(thick MLS h.gasket and ARP studs only)? If so, until how many HP or how much prussure do you rely on them? Or u gonna have forged stuff?

I`m looking forward to see how this project develops.

In the last picture you can see wiseco forged piston. That's the one that I'm going to use. For conrods I'm still looking at my options. Headgasket won't be MLS. I'll use separate rst rings (with grooves in block) and custom made mass. Turbo will be Garrett GT47 (78mm compr.). Hoping to get 600 reliable hp. :D But turbocharger tells a lot about the final hp target.

I believe Saku has the same basic engine.

Nice project!
In what angle have you mounted the engine?
It looks quite perfect. It even gives you a slight chance to have room for that nice looking Garrett :)

I can se that you have chosen to remove the break master cylinder. Why is that, and what solution do you have to that problem?

Thanks.. I looked that you have a nice project too.

Engine is mounted @ 15 degrees. Seems to be ok - both sides have enough room. Hope that I won't get any oil pooling problems with this angle (anyone have ideas if that will be a problem ?).

I will use pedalbox with brake cylinders inside the car.

Have you changed to a B38? The other engine was a B36 right? Different valve cover etc. that make me suspiciuos.

Awesome car and project! :D
