Re: E30 325ix turbo @ dyno
There is pictures of similar solution in this board. "Skarvsladden" or something like that has done it for his ix. Gears are from another diff or you can even buy them new from BMW.painter wrote:beemer wrote:Stock with 2 extra gears in diff.Blomgren wrote:stock or custom front diff?

Did quartermile in 10,3s @ 226km/h yesterday with 100% street setup (street tires (nankang ns2), street springs and dampers, street alingments). Finally the stock gearbox broke. Third gear missing now. I think I'll update it to 525ix box (same zf as e36 m3 etc).
Some numbers from engine management log:
0-100km/h 3s
100-200km/h 5.6s
max rpm 8430rpm
max boost 1,5bar
So still with lowboost setup. Will raise it as soon as I get my fuelling updated. 1200cc injectors are 100% open now with two walbro 255lph.

Re: E30 325ix turbo
Little acceleration with lowish boost (2bar) and slow gear changes. Trying not to break everything:

Mostly cosmetic changes. Bodywork pretty much all new + new paint.Jasu wrote:Nice to see this one on the move again.

Technical side - new fuel system and new exhaust. More boost and more revs.

Re: E30 325ix turbo
Don't know for sure.. Fact is that engine is consuming 20% more fuel than in the best 1/4mile run (10,3s @ 226km/h). I'm guestimating little over 800hp.painter wrote:Awsome!

Thanks !It sounds so fucking awsome
Still with lightly modified stock drivetrain. It seems to hold ok, but it cannot take any clutchkicks. I've Limited the torque down to ~700-750nm. 800nm is pretty much absolute max what it can take. Over that and you start breaking stuff with straight torque (front diff, flex disc (between trans and transfercase), transmission, rear driveshaft flexdisc).painter wrote:Wow thats impressive, same driveline still?

Re: E30 325ix turbo
Clutch is sachs -765 + 240mm sinter disc. Maybe something twin disc organic/carbon could be easier on the drivetrain.painter wrote:Great looking car!!
