So then how does cars like Andreas E30 M3 w/ S50B32 or other E30s with S38B38 pass inspection?! Entire engine swap?! I find this hard to believe. That would require an ecu and engine swap, and trans, and likely cooling system. That doesn't seem practical let alone possible.

Question about modified car inspection in Sweden

So a guy I know who is Swedish is trying to tell me that everyone with an aftermarket turbo on a car removes the entire setup each year for inspection. Obviously this cannot be the case - said person likes to make everything sound "harder" than it is. So, how many of you guys out there are taking ...

Awesome numbers on pump gas! Meth injection isn't very common here but it seems to be the shit to get some power on pump gas. The 765 pressure plate is a Sachs sport product. It fits M30 flywheels so you will need to get one of those aswell. The clutch disc is 240mm. Which type of clutch do you use ...

M50 2.8L 685RWHP Pump fuel + 50:50 water/meth

Hi all - some may be familiar with my build its an E34 M50 non vanos 2.8L crankshift Wiseco pistons 84.5mm and eagle rods. PT76 turbo 4" exhaust etc. Anyway - dyno'd it on Friday and made some good numbers on 93 octane (US measure) plus 50:50 water/meth and made 685 rwhp at 28 - 29 psi. I had the ...

It will be very low with pumpfuel. I have only boosted 22 psi on pumpfuel and then you have about 5-15 degrees. Ok great that gives me an idea of what to run. This motor will be pulled after the dyno, its leaking oil and needs to have the timing cover machined so another one is going in. It still ...

I will be trying to run it on 93 octane + 50:50 water/meth. Maybe some VP leaded racefuel (109 octane I think) also.

What timing can I put in it? 8.5:1 compression.

Thanks for info Andreas - how much power do you think PT76GTS witih .81 A/R hot side, 4" exhaust, and 2.8L crank will do with wiseco pistons and eagle rods around 22 psi and 30 psi?

I suspect you would get issues getting it to run for a long period of time, as the expansion rate of the two metals are different, and will cause cracking with time. If anything, you need to get a cast iron machined flange. Might get a better result, but not perfect. Thank you! I was thinking maybe ...

Weld wastegate flange to turbine housing?

Hello all! I am having boost control issues. I have PT76GTS on 2.9L M50 with custom manifold. I have one 44mm wastegate but have boost creep. I want to add a second wastegate off of the turbine housing like this: http://jonkensy.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/senaste025-1.jpg but I want to put it ...

He welded the bellhousings from T56 and BMW together. We have an axle that we bolt into the main bearings to centre the input shaft to the crank. We just weld the bellhouings together after milling the parts. Make an axle and it's no big deal. Backis thanks so much man - any pictures of the axle ...

T-56 M50 transmission adapter plate?

Hello PPF - Was wondering if you guys make an adapter plate for an M50 engine block to accept a T-56 transmission. What all is needed? What sort of fabrication must be done to fit it in an E34. My current trans is making some nasty noises and I'd like to upgrade. Can you share any information on ...
