The Getrag 280 trany that was originale in the E34 M5 was swaped with the 260 on warenty by BMW in the 90's so the moste of the E34 M5 have the 260 gear box.You can se the difrence by the spacer betwene the gearbox housing and the rear housing on the gearbox like on this pic. http://www.euromcars ...
